Affirmations and mantras have been used for centuries. They are an amazing tool to transform your life and help you become the best version of yourself.
They reprogram your subconscious mind, remove limiting beliefs and change your unhealthy habits and behaviors.
If you practice them regularly, you can develop new neural pathways and literally reshape your brain.
Here are four steps to follow in order to make them work:
-
Believe what you’re saying.
This is the most important thing. Repetition doesn’t make affirmations work – your belief does. It doesn’t matter if you repeat them one hundred times, if you don’t believe what you say.
-
Focus on your feelings.
If you use affirmations to become more motivated, try to feel motivated while you are saying them. Try to become this new, motivated you. Enjoy this state and feel as if your intention has already manifested.
-
Use affirmations regularly.
Use your affirmations 2-3 times a day, for at least 5 minutes in each session. You can repeat them out loud or just say them in your head – choose what feels better for you. Avoid using more than 3 affirmations in one session – it’s better to focus on 1-3 statements at a time.
-
Use affirmations in a state of deep relaxation.
The best time to say your affirmations is right after waking up, just before going to sleep or during meditation, because that’s when you can access your subconscious mind. You need to be deeply relaxed in order to erase your thoughts and fully focus on what you want to manifest.
